Best landscapes of Yosemite National Park

California has so much to offer, but certainly one of the places I love about our road trip through the U.S. West Coast, was Yosemite. You're driving into a forest of Giant Sequoias on either side of the road leading to the best landscapes of Yosemite National Park. A dreamy place you can’t miss.

Rocky Mountains

I would say that these mountains were part of one of the best images I have witnessed ever. We were very lucky, because weather accompanied, which makes the landscape much appreciated.

I had already seen the photos when planning the trip, but it is true that you don’t get an idea of how awesome it is until you see it with your own eyes. The most Rocky Mountains are Half Dome and Glacier Point, but personally, all of them are truly spectacular.

Granite walls

The most well-known of Yosemite's walls is El Capitan, a huge breathtaking granite cliff. Simply impressive. Many visitors are hesitant to climb this huge wall of granite. Really overwhelmed, and do not think I dare to climb it. Would you dare to try?

Cascades and Waterfalls

Some spectacular, some smaller, snowbreak of the high mountains of Sierra Nevada, leaves spectacular waterfalls that you can see from the Yosemite Valley.

Transparent lakes

Crystal clear water where you can see reflected the mountains that still snow in August. An image that contrasts with the blue sky and the green trees. One of the places that I liked the most of Yosemite National Park.

Green Trails

We made several long journeys on foot through paths where finding native fauna was very easy. Each trail with different landscapes, roads of rocks, sand surrounded by ferns and giant sequoias, green esplanades that looked like authentic rice fields... Really amazing!

Sometimes, when I stepped off the marked paths, I got the feeling that I was going to find a giant bear in front of me; but I must say that everything was in my imagination because I fail to see any, despite the desire I had. Did you had better luck?

If you want to be inspire and enjoy pure nature, granite cliffs, impressive waterfalls and real hiking, do not miss the best landscapes of Yosemite National Park.
