Friday Pic: Bhutan, the happiest country of the World

This week I've thought about positivism; we have to look at life with a smile, because that is all much easier, and sometimes we like to complicate ourselves with negative thoughts that lead nowhere. So, I dedicate today's Friday Pic which is said the happiest country in the World: Bhutan.

This small kingdom of less than one million inhabitants officially, is located in southern Asia, between India and China. Known locally as the "Land of the Dragon", became independent from
India in 1949.

It's a country that inspires serenity, with breathtaking sceneries and many temples built on the slopes of the high mountains of Asia. Since the 90's, Bhutan began to open to the World and gave special priority to preserve their culture, environment and social development. All this, in addition to creating the concept of "Gross National Happiness" with which the country is measured internally, and together with his Buddhist philosophy based on the well-being and balance between body and soul, may have made Bhutan over the years to become one of the happiest countries in the World.

Who would not want to experience that happiness and know one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet? Would you like to follow the chain of positivism?

Happy Friday!
