Friday Pic: Greenland

It seems that the spring doesn't want to stay in Spain, so I thought that for today's Friday Pic, what better to know a place that is very cold and I would love to visit someday? Do you know which country I'm talking about? Greenland!

It was really difficukt to decide a photo for this Friday Pic, because Greenland, considered one of the largest islands in the world, is so spectacular that its landscapes seems like another world.

Imagine, it's so cold in Greenland that, only in small coastal areas, in summer, the temperature does not exceed 10 degrees.

There are so many things I didin't know of this magnificent island between the Arctic and the Atlantic
Ocean. 84% of its surface is ice, politically dependent on Denmark, though, maintain their autonomy since 1979 and its population exceeds 60,000. Interesting, isn't it?

Currently, Greenland is carried out scientific studies on the composition of the ice and its relation with climate change.

If you want to travel to Greenland, you can do it by plane, mainly from Denmark, with daily flights. And the only way to cross the island from one side to another is riding on a snowmobile or by dog sled. Would you join me on this amazing Friday Pic?

Happy Friday!
